TLT Engineering was founded in 2014 by Terry Lee Torres, a lifelong inventor, engineer, programmer and DIY enthusiast with several inventions and even a patent or two to his name. As an engineer Terry always kept audio notes on various projects. One day while recording notes on an unrelated project he happened to record himself shooing his dog off the couch. A few days later when Terry replayed this audio recording he noticed his dog jump off the couch on his own in response to the playback of the previously recorded admonishment. The idea for CueCollar was born.
After several months spent designing, programming and testing, he finalized his design and brought in some friends to help bring CueCollar to life. The staff of TLT Engineering (all being pet parents) always disagreed with the use of shock collars to train pets and are overjoyed to be able to offer other pet parents a safe, non-harmful training alternative.

On March 10th 2020 I was finally awarded my second United States Utility Patent!!! This latest patent greatly expands upon the breadth and scope of the protections awarded in the first patent. Combined, they wrap up a 4-year venture to cement my position as the sole inventor and owner of a technology that describes an entirely new branch of science.
